Okay, now I’m in a completely different state in the US and Don can still do our taxes (thank god). Our taxes have been more complicated and Don is so patient and knowledgable. Now there are all kinds of stocks some of which we cashed, cashed out pension, different states involved, different lingo, we bought a house, etc. It was a mess as far as we were concerned For this Tax year 2015. Don has helped us so much this 2015 to educate us and guide us to prepare us for what we will owe. It’s serious stuff we have to deal with (our money), and he is so calm and easy going yet he is very prompt in responding to us via phone or email even though we are out of state 2 time zones away. And yes, there have been a ton of back and forth of him explaining things to us and asking questions, requesting info. I feel bad for him because we still don’t quite get it other than “money goes bye bye”, but that’s why we have him right? I feel bad because I know I send STUPID questions, but he never calls me out on it and always answers clearly in a timely manner. Communication is awesome! I used to do my own taxes so I’m not completely in the dark, but now it’s a whole new beast. He helped us get info for several ASAP moments for last minute escrow stuff earlier in the year too, which allowed us to close on time. I can sleep easily at night with him on our side. He adds years to my husband and I’s life by saving the years we’d lose at tax time without him.
